String wound filter element
1.Inner polypropylene or metal core for compressive strength and compatibility. Extended cores are available.
2.Optional inner layer, Core Wrap, of synthetic material compatible to filter media to prevent downstream migrations of fibers.
3.Outer filtration layer of natural cotton, bleach cotton, econo polypropylene, FDA polypropylene, fibrillated polypropylene, polyester, fiberglass, or rayon. The fibrillated polypropylene is a non-fiber releasing media.
Applications
For use as a final filter or pre-filter in industrial applications.
