Tempered glass:

Characteristic:

1.High mechanical property.

Its compressive strength can be more than 125Mpa.And it is shockproof, so it is clalled toughened glass.

Tempered glass is produced by a compressive stress on the surface of the glass by using the chemical and physical methods. It makes the glass to endure higher compressive strength and hard to damaged.

When the glass is hit by the external stress, the compressive stress can offset part of the tension stress, and to aviod the broken of the glass. Although the inside of the tempered glass is at tension stress, it is  flawless, and won't be damaged, so as to improve the strength of the glass.

2. High heat stability
Because the compressive stress can offset part of the tension stress which is caused by the heat shock, it is not easy to explode scraps when the heat shock. So it has high level of heat resistance.

The minimum safe work temperature is 288, it can work on the change of the different temperature between 204.

Usage: widely used in architecture engineering, vehicle and other fields.

Type:
1. Flat tempered.
Often used for the windows ,indoor, partition wall, curtain wall, show window and furniture.

2.Bent glass.
Always used for automobile, train, plain and so on.

Tempered glass can not be cut or grinding, and the edge can not be knocked and pressed. It must be selected or proposed the exact drawing to processing according to the former specification.

The glass which is used in the large acreage glass curtain wall should be controlled when it is tempering.

The stress of half tempered glass can not be to big to aviod the broken caused by the shock of the wind loading.
