Conformed to the latest API Spec.6A, the gate plate was designed as needs. Back seal is set between the stem and the bonnet in order to replace the fill of the valve-stem when the valve bears pressure.The seal surface is welded with hard alloy of corrosion resistance and impact resistance.

Features of the plate gate valve:
Simple structure and renewable gate and seat assembly.
One-piece and double-acting gate with long service life.
Both thrust bearings with large load capacity, composite rubber-plastic stem lip packing and minimize operational torque.
A grease cup set in bearing cap to make it easy to inject lubricating grease in the field.
Threaded packing gland allows replace of bearings and stem packing under line pressure.
Simple structure and reliable sealing: New modern seal ring was provide between the body and bonnet which are connected by studs.
The sealing surfaces of the gate and seat are hardfaced for wear and corrosion resistance.
Wave springs are installed between the body and seat. The gate and seat still keep a positive metal to metal sealing under low pressure.
The hand wheel shall be backed off 1/4 turn after its rotation to the open or close positon because of . floating gate design.
