RUNLAN DF Series stainless steel filter housing
Brief Introduction
DF series scraping self-cleaning filter, automatically removes particles from the filter element surface by the efficiently mechanical scraping, can work on-line continuously, consumes no disposal filter media, requires no frequent manual cleaning, is capable of the filtration for both normal and high viscous liquids.
DF scraping self-cleaning filter has 3 sub-series: A series, the pneumatic cylinder drives the scraper up and down to remove the particles on the filter element internal surface, good at the normal viscous liquid and high filtration degree application, has the highest cleaning efficiency; X series, the motor drives the scraper to rotate and remove the particles on the filter element external surface; M series, the motor drives the scraper to rotate and remove the particles on the filter element internal surface; the X series and M series are good for the high viscous liquid.
The conventional manual filter gets frequently clogged when filtering viscous liquid or removing viscous contaminant. so that customer has to accept the larger filter and clean the filter frequently. It takes expensive investment, requires hard maintenance and discharges lot of waste liquid. DF scraping self-cleaning filter is the ideal solution for such problems, always keep the filter element cleaning, and discharges the liquid with high solid content and result in less valuable liquid loss. With its obvious advantage, DF scraping self-cleaning filter is taking the places of conventional ones such as the vibrating screens, bag filters, basket filters and some back-flushing filters, etc
Woring Principle
Filtering: Liquid flows into the filter from the inlet, from up to down, gets through the filter element surface and goes to the outlet; When the filter element collects enough particles, the cleaning action starts at the preset time or pressure drop.
[DFA Series Principle] the pneumatically driven scraper moves down slowly, removes the particles from the filter element surface, and moves up to clean again, particles are pushed down to the collection chamber, repeats the cleaning action for several times till the filter element gets clean.

[DFX Series Principle] the motor-driven scrapper rotates and removes the particles from the filter element external surface, filtration direction from outside to inside,The impurities moves off along the blades and falls down to the filter bottom. The rotating plates push the gravity impurities into the collection chamber.. Keep the scrapper rotating till the filter element gets clean.
[DFM Series Principle] the motor-driven scrapper rotates and removes the particles from the filter element inner surface, filtration direction from inside to outside,particles falls down with the flowing down liquid to the collection chamber. Keep the scrapper rotating till the filter element gets clean.
[Purging] The discharging valve opens per the preset time or D.P and discharges the waste liquid with high impurity concentration through the drain outlet, the purged liquid can be reclaimed if necessary.
