Model FHT-A Casing / Drill Pipe Protector
The Casing / Drill Pipe Protector is a nonmetal abrasion-resistant sleeve installed on drillpipe pipe body and positioned between two end collars.
The protector O.D. is larger than that of a drill pipe collar.
The protector prevents the metal to metal friction between casing and drill pipes, limits drill string bending and reduces vibration caused by drill string rotation. Therefore, it achieves the purpose of protecting casing and drill pipes.
The protector system consists of two positioning collars and a nonmetal abrasionresistant sleeve.
Used for protecting casing and drill pipes under various
well conditions.
Rated temperature reaches 180°C.
The aluminum alloy positioning collars have enough toughness
to withstand high impact load.
The positioning collars are fixed with Allen screws, which provide
easy and firm installation.
Rotational torque can be reduced up to 50%.
