Overview: in terms of application purpose, the overshot is classified into reversing overshot and non-reversing overshot. Releasing overshot is the most efficient tool used to tightly catch fish within the outside smooth diameter of the well, including drill collar, drill stem, sub, coupling, tubing, while-drilling tool, inclinometer, etc. It is able to bear a large and owns fish-sealing structures. Available for high-pumping-pressure circulation, it is also able to release fish within the well. Its milling shoe can be used to trim the fish for its smooth entry into the overshot. Its accessories include extension subs, wall hook, oversized guide, and lock ring, which could catch pipeline sections far from the fishing top, enlarge fishing area, and guide fish off the well wall into the overshot, thus completing reversing fishing. Structure and principle: it is made up of the top sub, body, spiral slip (or basket-shaped slip), rotary shoe, guiding shoe, etc. This product is designed and manufactured in accordance with the petroleum and natural gas industry standard of People’s Republic of China Overshot for Drilling and Servicing (SY/T 5069-2009) and API7-1 standard.
