Main Application:

The  Hopper Screw Feeder for powder conveying of dry materials in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other
industrial purposes.

Working Principle:

LSJ screw conveying system is conveyor equipment widely used. There are two kinds of screw conveyor
divided from conveying direction, one is horizontal screw conveyor, and another is vertical screw
conveyor. The conveyor is used for loose materials such as all kinds of powders, granules and
small blocks. The screw conveyor is made of steel. There is pipe inside of conveyor and paddles are
spirally welded on the pipe. The materials are passed and conveyed by rotary spiral paddles.

Feature:

The characteristic of screw conveyor: simple structure, small cross section, good sealing, reliable
operation, low manufacturing cost, convenient intermediate loading and unloading, can reversed
conveying and also can convey in the opposite two directions. The screw conveyor cannot be used
for those materials such as perishable, large viscosity, easy to agglomerate and bulk materials. When
conveying the bulk materials the materials will be crushed, and the paddles and screw pipe will be
easy to break.
  The screw conveyor is made up of conveyor body, inlets, outlets and driving device. Compared
with other kinds of conveyors, there are some advantages of screw conveyor such as small cross
section, good sealing, reliable operation, intermediate loading and unloading, safe operation and
convenient repair.
