On most of large scale water treating projects, filtration to the suspended substances is a basic process. Because of the high strength of the sand filter, fewer filter media, high water flow rate and filtration precision, therefore it is widely in use. It must used with water pump or compression device. Water penestrate through the sand layer, contaminants in the water are captured, filtered clean water flow out through the outlet. With water distributor inside the filter to seperate the water from the sands, the sands will not flow out with the water. The body head is designed to be connected with PVC pipe with outer diameter 63mm by loose joint, so the installation is easy. Backwashing can be operated by the handle on the head, but beware to power off the water pump first.
