SYSTEM OVERVIEW
WISDOM AMR/AMI system for industrial&commercial(I&C) and residential application is mainly utilized for distribution and end users.The system affords a series of functions comprising acquisition,processing and real-time monitoring for energy data,monitoring for abnormal metering and energy quality,energy consumption analysis and management,release of energy information,distributed energy monitoring and nformation interaction for smart electric equipment,and etc.
A large variety of energy management terminals,e.g.,load control units,distribution transformer monitoring units,and data collectors/concentrators can be connected to the system via multiple communication channels including GPRS,CDMA,PSTN,Ethernet for up-link channel and PLC,RS485,micro power wireless and Zigbee for down-link.
With WISDOM AMR/AMI system,energy consumption is automatically collected without periodic trip to each physical location to read a meter.This reduces both labor and financial costs,and avoids man-made errors.On the other hand,demand side management is effectively implemented due to the easy collection and analysis of energy data and efficient control of eneryg usage.
