Gouge blades are medical devices used for the removal of the superficial layers of the skin in the treatment of the epidermic pathologies of the foot.
The gouge blades are generic products used by the Podiatrist. This tool exists in non-disposable form since at least the 19th century. The disposable form exists since second half of the 20th century. The disposable blades make it possible to use a single and sterile product for each patient.
Gouge blades can be used with a standard metal handle of fitment 3 or with round collet handles made of either stainless steel or aluminum.
