Low density, High specific strength, Excellent corrosive resistance, Biological features.
- Applications
Less susceptible to seawater corrosion, titanium is used in the manufacture of the propeller shaft, rigging and heat exchanger for desalination plant ; cold water heater is also used to salt water aquarium, fishing lines and diving knife . Titanium is used in the manufacture of marine surveillance deployment of housing and other components, and used in scientific or military monitoring instrument.
Chemical and petrochemical industry need titanium welding pipelines and processing equipment (heat exchangers, tanks, processing container, valve), mainly due to the corrosion resistance of titanium.
