We have designed a 150tph Beach sand processing plant for our Mozambique customer
Main contents of the beach sand as below :
ILMENITE, HEMATITE, MAGNETITE,RUTILE, ZIRCONE, CORINDONE, ANDALUSITE, QUARZO, ATLRI,GARNET SAND, MONAZITE
Most of the heavy fractions are magnetic minerals, customer want to remove the magnetic minerals, and get the rutilo and Zircone, MONAZITE.
According to customer’s requirements and ore condition, We design the flow sheet as below, the main processing method in this plant include: gravity process, magnetic process and electrostatic separation.
1. considering the raw material is maxi 1mm size, the excavator can feed material directly to spiral chute via slurry pump. If there are some bigger stones in deep areas, can consider use the high frequency vibration screen to separate out particles +1mm
2. the spiral chute: we suggest to use two-stages spiral chute, the middling from first-stage will go to second-stage to concentrate again, to get more concentrate.
3. because most of the heavy fractions are magnetic minerals, so in order to remove clean as much as possible, we suggest to firstly use the wet process low intensity magnetic separator to remove magnetite which is with high intensity. then use wet process middle intensity magnetic separator to remove ilmenite and hematite.
3. the zircon and other non-magnetic minerals goes to shaking table for concentration, also use two stages shaking table for getting higher concentration effect.
4. after the electrostatic separator, can get rutilo and other minerals, maybe still including some magnetic minerals, so use a high intensity dry process magnetic separator to remove the magnetic minerals again, the zircon will be more high grade.
the flowchart can be revised according to customer’s purity requirements for the zircon, rutilo, and ilmenite,ect.
