Multimedia filter is usually called depth filters, water flows through a certain thickness, media layer with a certain particles size, then reached the filtering effect .The media may be quartz sand ,gravel or granular materials. filtration level depends on the particles diameter and flow speed through filter bed. INOCO provides a series of various forms of such product sand accessories,can also provide control system for using single or multiple parallel situation, INOCO is willing to offer you the products design ,perfect system and help you select filter media such as sand ,quartz sand ,activated carbon and multilayer media.

Working Principle:

Water flows into the filter inlet then through filter layer,suspended impurity in water will be adsorpted by filtering layer,filtered water from filtering cap flows to outlet,cleaning can be done by backwashing ,the flow is the reverse flow from water filtering cap upward,causing filter layer turbulent ,meanwhile the adsorbed impurity are released and discharged from drain valve,backwashing process is completed automatically by pressure differential or timing.
