UL sharp edge Tester for Toy sharp edge test
Application:
The Sharp Edge Test is used for determining the sharpness of edges of electrical equipment and other consumer products. It is made of tough metal (not plastic). All moving mechanisms are protected against dirt and breakage. The UL Sharp Edge Tester is also used for compliance with US Federal regulations for consumer products. It also meets requirements for Canadian regulations. The US Federal regulation is Title 16, Volume 2, Chapter 11, Part 1500. The arm pressure can be adjusted over a wide range to accommodate all regulations and custom requirements.
Sharp Edge Test is manufactured according to the UL1439 standard, suitable to electrical products, including computers, household electrical and electronic equipments, used to determine if accessibility exists sharp edge safety hazards to the user by the touch part of the products, it belongs to Toys safety test equipment.
