1.Cable connecting definitions

Red Line------Positive +6~+32VDC

Black Liine-----Negative GND

White Line-----TX,

Green Line----RX;

Yellow Line------DGND;

Kindly Prompt: If need to DB9 Female head, so RX,TX and G will be corresponding to connection to Second, Third and Fifth base pin of DB9 head separately.

2 Operating Steps

 

       2.1 Connect a sensor to the serial port of computer (or other device which have serial ports) and the power port of adapter with special data cable.

 

              2.2. Measurement:

                     2.3.1 Send the command “0X4F” (HEX) by computer to turn on the sensor. Sensor boot and positioning red dot, Send the command “44” (HEX) to the sensor. The sensor will begin to measure continuously after 3 seconds when it got the order, we can continuously send the command “44”                

2.3.3 Send the command “43” (HEX) to turn off the whole sensor (include both of laser unit and measuring unit).

 

 Input and output

 

       1 Data format for RS232 serial communication

       Baud rate: 19200 bps , Data bits: 8 , Stop bit: 1 , Parity bit: None

 

 

A total of 26 sections each frame as measurement result, 3-8 representative numerical measurement; For example The measured results for 12.321m, so the measurement result show as 44 3A 31 32 2E 33 32 31,unit :meter

If measurement results 2.321m, it shows 44 3A 20 32 2E 33 32 31 Unit: meter

Among 18-21 means the current temperature of the sensor, for example if the present temperature is 30.4degree, so the result shows 33 30 2E 34 Unit: ℃
