Product Description

Material:

Natural gas pipe chooses high density polyethylene as the main raw material, adding a small amount of antioxidants, Anti-UV absorbers and pigments.

Characteristics:

1. Non-toxic and healthy

PE gas pipe is a green building material, and it’s free from poison, corrosion and scaling.

2. Anti-corrosion

As a kind of inert material, polyethylene is corrosion-resistant to variety of chemical media and electrochemicals except for a few strong oxidizers, thus no

anticorrosive coating needed.

3. No leakage

PE gas pipe mainly adopts hot-melt and electrofusion connection, which achieves integration of the piping system. It has good resistance to water hammer pressure and effective resistance to underground movement and end load, which greatly improves safety and reliability of water supply and ratio of water utilization.

4. Small flow resistance

Absolute roughness coefficient of PE gas pipe’s inner surface is less than 0.01, which could effectively reduce the water consumption.

5. High toughness

PE gas pipe is a material of high toughness and its elongation at break is generally over 500%. Also it has a remarkable capability to adapt to uneven settlement of the pipeline foundation. So, it is a kind of pipeline with excellent earthquake resistant performance.

6. Good flexibility

Because of its good flexibility, pe gas pipe can be coiled and supplied in longer length, which saves a large number of fittings and increases the economic value of PE pipeline.

7. Long service life

Natural gas pipe can be used safely for more than 50 years.

5. Strong impact resistance, PE pipe is very tough, when heavy directly go over through pipes, it won't cause the pipes crack.

6. Reliable connectivity,PE pipe hot melt or fused interface is higher than the pipe body itself. Joints will not crack due to the soil movement .

7. Good workability, the pipe is very light, and the welding process is simple.

Applications:

1.PE gas pipe is suitable for gas transportation on condition that working temperature is among -20°c~40°c

2.Long-term maximum working pressure is not more than 0.7MPa.

3.PE gas pipe is suitable for Gas distribution network both for domestic & industrial consumption.
