Application
PRP is a concentration of platelets in plasma. It contains many growth factors, such as PDGF, TGF-B, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF), insulin-like growth factor (IGF), etc.
HA is widely applied in clinical practice with good results . HA forms part of the inflammatory process that can lead to the regeneration of cartilage in defective areas of the skin.
PRP&HA is successfully used in a variety of clinical applications for improving hard and soft tissue healing.
PRP&HA Preparation Procedure
1) Withdraw Blood and Prepare PRP&HA
A. Fill PRP tubes with patient's blood.
B. Soon after the sampling,turn the tube 180o upside down,shaking and mixing 3 times.
2) Centrifugation
A. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge for 10 minutes at 1800g.Place tubes opposite each other to balance.
B. Blood will fractionate. PRP(Platelet-Rich Plasma)&HA will be on top and red blood cells and most of white blood cells at bottom of gel.
3) Aspirate PRP&HA
A. Up and down the HA PRP tubes 5 times,to make the PRP and HA mixing.
B. Collecting all mixing PRP&HA and ready to inject to patients.
