Chroma's new series 66200 Digital Power Meteris designed for single-phase measurements of AC power signals andrelated parameters common to most electronic products. Instead oftraditional analog measurement circuits the 66200 uses state-of-the-artDSP digitizing technology. The internal 16 bits analog/ digitalconverters with sampling rates of up to 240KHz provide both high speedand high accuracy measurements which is unprecedented within theindustry for this class of power meters current on the market.Theinstruments include a four part display with 7-segment LED front panelreadouts. Users can easily select desired parameters and readouts at atouch of a button. Instruments also include optional remote controlusing USB or GPIB interfaces via rear panel connections. The 66200 ispackaged in a 2U high, half rack enclosure suitable for benchtop orsystem integration.The Model 66202includes a 2-shunt design to provide highly accurate readings for bothlow and high current measurements. In addition to the parametersmeasured by Model 66201, the 66202 includes Inrush current, TotalHarmonic Distortion of V/I, and Energy measurements. With thesepractical functions, The Model 66202 is suitable for the most demandingof R&D and quality control departments.66200 series provides 3methods for measuring. A simple Average method can provide a visualstable value but it still may lose some transient data. A Window Modemethod that calculates all data within the user-defined window time isrecommended. An accumulated energy approach method (i.e. Integrationmethod) for power measurement is also provided. It calculates activepower value by integrating energy is suitable for ENERGY STARmeasurement requirement.
