This trommel screen machine is adaptable to low moisture material of hardness such as shale, coal gangue, etc. With reasonable design, this trommel has large production capacity. For those materials of high moisture, seive holes should be enlarged.
Trommel screen is composed of motor, reduction unit, cylindrical drum, screen frame and sealing cover. Cylindrical drum screen is normally elevated at an angle at the feed end.

Trommel screen is sieving cylinder, which is composed of several circular screen, the whole body is slant on the ground.
External is sealed by the cowling in order to avoid dust.
The sieving cylinder rotates under certain speed driven by variable speed
reducer.
Through rolling, the materials are separated from top to bottom,
and the fine material is discharged from the front and the block is
discharged from bottom.
Working Principle of rotary screen:
Trommel screen is consist of five parts as drum, frame, hopper, reducer and motor. After the material into the drum, on one hand, materials being screened along with the rotation of drum, on the other hand, the bigger materials flow forward along the direction of slope and be separated by the screen with different numbers of meshes. The different materials fall into different hoppers and then are sent to different finished product stacks by manpower or belt conveyor.
