Our design team at yixun Molded Plastics uses project management fundamentals throughout the design process to document customer specific requirements and integrate them into the mold product design. Choosing the Best Resin for Your Part
The success of innovative design and engineering rely on choosing the right material for your project. Aviation and electronics high-temp environments
- Stability for temp changes
- Tolerancing in steel is critical for close-tolerance molded product
- Very tight process window
- Stringent PM guidelines on molds and screw and barrel
- Thick/thin wall variation can be molded together, but requires adequate design for manufacturing analysis with moldflow and fill simulation technology
- Highly susceptible to flash
- Medical, healthcare, sporting goods
- Extremely pliable Shore A 00 Durometer requires non-typical molding press screw design and processing standards
- Part-removal and ejection techniques are non-standard for mold build and may require automation or operator assistance
