Introduction: Rib Lath is expanded metal-lath stiffened with longitudinal ribs. The furring design of the mesh provides efficient background plaster for construction of partition, suspended ceilings and refurbishment works. The advantage of ribbed-lath over metal-lathing is that support centers can be increased or widened.
Material: Galvanized Steel for dry conditions. stainless Steel for external use and condition of heavy condensation or persistent damp.
Complies with BS 1369 part 1:1987 specification for expanded metal and ribbed lathing.
Applications & Design:
Stiffened by longitudinal ribs ideal for suspended ceilings and partitions providing a suitable key for render and plaster. Gives a uniform coat depth for large areas.
Installation Requirements:
Render dab or galvanized nails. Hold sheets together with galvanized wire.
