Metal lath is initially cut to size, fitted onto the supporting structure, and then attached to the supporting structure with fasteners.
After application the metal lath must be entirely behind the surface plane of the eventual stucco membrane.

easy to cut and form to ornamental plaster work.
provides ample keying for scratch coat.
commonly used for plaster machine application.
gives a uniform coat depth for large area.
Applicaion:
Rib lath is widely used as a plaster backing on ceilings,walls and stud partitions.Rib Lath is also ideal for refurbishing damaged or aged masonry walls when a key for rendering is not certain due to disintrgration or softening of the wall face.
