Composed of High modulus PET yarns stitched to nonwoven geotextile backing that enables maximum load carrying efficiency.
PET Reinforcing Geocomposite are engineered materials suitable for short and long term soil reinforcement application.The geotextile backing provides in-plane drainage and protection to the polyester reinforcing yarns against installation damage.It is suitable for the reinforcement of both poor draining and granular soils!
To use PET Reinforcing geocomposite in long term soil reinforcement applications an assessment of their load carry capabilities is required.Several assessment procedures are in parctice,each adopting the use of the partial factor approach to describe the behaviour of the reinforcement material over time under specific load and environmental regimes.
