AD-QDJ Watertight Ceramic Tile EPDM Joint in Concrete, consists of one flush rubbery strip and hidden extruded aluminum base. As its name being called,it is used for floor to wall corner expansion joint.
Avida floor expansion joint system series are simply designed and accommodate modern architectural amenity. Avida floor expansion joint covers provide solutions not only for construction movement but also for all construction problems being triggered, and reduce lots of floor maintenance work brought by construction cracks, crack leakage, and other latent risks of construction physical expansion or compression.
Its surface rubbery strip adopts elastic neoprene to accommodate construction expansion or compression. This model suits for 50-75mm floor expansion joint width. Its flush surface design is for easy maintenance.
Its hidden aluminum base is made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy. The aluminum is anodized for high corrosion resistance. Its sliding grooves on sides is for inserting rubbery cover. Compared with other rubbery seals, AD-QDJ surface is with less metal exposure, just one flush rubber strip and two side metal lines. Different from ADDJ, one side of its base is secured to floor, while the other side base is secured to wall as pictures bellow.
