Function:
To test the oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of packaging materials, such as plastic film, composite film, coextrusion film, aluminum-plated film, aluminum foil, infusion bag, sheets, paper, paper board, solar battery panel, cellophane, ceramics and porcelain, and various containers such as bag, pouch, bottle, can, bowl, box, widely used in the industries of food, pharmaceuticals, personal care, household, electronics and so on.

rigid films, shrik films, stretch films, plastic films, plastic composite films, paper-plastic composite films,aluminized films, aluminum foil, aluminum composite films, high barrier films and many others. Eg. PET, OPP, CPP, LDPE, BOPP

Working principle
Gravimetric method. Fix the test sample in the middle of test chamber to separate the chamber into upper room and lower room; humid gas flows in upper room, and place desiccant device in lower room; as in lower room it remains dry (0-8%RH) by desiccant, water molecules penetrate through the sample from upper room into lower room, absorbed by desiccant; then the cup weight will increase; system weigh the increasing cup weight so as to calculate the water vapor transmission rate.
