BYM series module is made of BYF series ceramic blanket, folded or piled up with blanket sheets and pre-compressed to a specified density. Several types of anchor can be selected for different installing demand.
Production Specialty
The anchor system is remote from hot face, maintaining the metal components at a relatively low temperature.
The pre-compressing of the accordion-pleats, released after installation, gives tightly sealed inter-modules joints with both configurations, this counteracts shrinkage that occurs at operating temperatures and help prevent joins from opening up in service.
Low thermal conductivity giving high thermal efficiency.
Since the module has good resilience, the furnace or kiln structural steel need not be totally rigid. This provides an opportunity for innovative furnace and kiln designs.
Light weight, giving low heat absorption in the insulation. Good resistance to thermal shock. The heat-up and cool-down stages of furnace or kiln operating cycles can be greatly accelerated.
