The quality of the doctor blade steel and the precision manufacturing process of our Doctor Blades play an important role in the printing process. High precision grinding and deburring equipment was developed by MDC to manufacture the lamella tip blade. The constant contact zone of the lamella guarantees no changes in tonal value and therefore guarantees high standards of consistent print quality. | Since our Doctor Blades are custom-made, the customer has a choice of widths, lengths and lamella configurations for their blades.
1. Doctor Blade length: up to 100 m roll or cut-to-length
2. Doctor Blade thickness: 0.15, 0.20, 0.25, mm
3. Doctor Blade width: 10 – 60 mm
4. Lamella width: 1.3 mm or customer’s required width
5. Tip thickness: 0.075mm
6. Straightness tolerance deviations: 0.6 mm over 3000 mm
