1. Application: Freeze Protection

 

INOA BS self-regulating heating cables are designed to provide freeze protection and temperature maintenance to metallic and nonmetallic pipes, tanks and equipment.

INOA BS heating cables are rated for heat outputs of 16, 24 and 30 watts/meter at 10°C . INOA BS is a proven, simple, practical solution for both metal and plastic pipes.

 

 

 

a. Easy to Design . . .

 Whether the application is a small project or a complex network of piping and equipment, designing an electric heat traced freeze protection system is easy with  INOA BS self-regulating cables. The step-by-step design guide leads the reader through determining the heating requirements and number of circuits required to establish a bill of materials. With parallel circuitry, INOA BS cables do not require piping dimensions and can be cut to length in the field. Heat tracing circuits for field-routed piping can be quickly and easily designed on site.

 

b. Easy to Install . . .

INOA BS  is installed directly on metallic or nonmetallic piping under conventional thermal insulation with ordinary hand tools. Kits for power connection, end termination and splicing, plus other accessories, are designed for quick and easy installation. Simply pull  INOA BS from the supply reel, install directly on the pipe and complete circuit fabrication. Tee splices may be installed anywhere along the circuit to match the layout of the piping.

 2.Application: Snow and Ice Melting

INOA BS self-regulating heating cables are an integral part of  snow and ice melting systems. Designed and approved specifically for direct burial,  INOA BS cable withstands the abuse encountered during concrete placement. The self-regulating heat output of SRL cable varies in response to the surrounding concrete temperatures. When the concrete is at or below freezing temperatures, SRL will deliver the maximum power output. As the concrete warms-up, the power output of the cable will decrease. Energy efficiency can be accomplished without special or sophisticated controls.

 

-Easy to Design . . . Determining the circuit layout of  SRL cable for a snow and ice melting system is easy. The step-by-step design guide leads the reader through determining the heating requirements, selecting the cable spacing and establishing the number of heating circuits and accessories required to complete the Snow melting system.

 

SRL cables are easily adapted to variations in design found at the job site. This can reduce or eliminate the need to redesign circuits off-site without details or sufficient time to react.

 

-Easy to Install . . . The demanding environment associated with forms, reinforcing steel and concrete placement requires that the cable be rugged. The fluoropolymer jacketed KSR with an additional silicone rubber outer jacket provides the needed durability. Yet it is flexible enough to adapt to steps, curved walkways, landings or other confined areas. Installing and terminating the cable is easy. Simply unreel the amount of cable needed for the area/circuit and terminate with Thermon circuit fabrication kits and accessories. Power connection, splice kits, end termination and expansion joint kits are all designed specifically for the demanding application.
