Brief Introduction of Animal Food Extruder
Animal food extruder is a newly-designed line for improving market of pet food, which is developed successfully with our many years research experiences on food machinery. This line endues pet food with novel shape, unique taste and color. It can meet with other needs of modern market by many superior characteristics, such as scientific nutrition formular and easy assimilation. And this line can also make the pet food cored filling, it will be more popular with modern pets.

For KLD- 65 as an example, it is the standard configuration of the animal food exturder.
Mixer- Screw conveyor- Extruder- Air conveyor- Dryer- Air conveyor- Flavoring- Cooling Conveyor
Mixer
It is a Mixer which can mix all the raw materials (powder form) with water and liquid chemical additives.
Capacity: 20-30kgs per batch.
Screw Conveyor
The mixed materials can be conveyed in the stainless steel roller to the feeding machine (feeder) of extruder without any leaking, dusting and pollution; Feed quantity and speed is even and stable.
Extruder
The Twin-screw extruder is made of the feeding system, extruding system, cutting system, heating system, transmission system and controlling system.
Dryer
Roller
The stainless steel flavor feeder is used to spray powder flavor to the drum. We can control the spraying quantity via the different speed which controlled by the soft start.
Cooling Conveyor
There are four fans which can make the food be cool avoiding sticking together and be suitable for packing. The total length of the conveyor is 5 meters. It is full set stainless steel. The height of the hoister can be adjusted based on the requirement.
The animal food exturder can make various shapes of pet food which depended on your needs, such as: rings, flowers, bones, triangles, pillows, cored filling and so on, just change the dies of animal food extruder. You can tell us your need, and we can design for you.
Packing
Inside: plastic bag for the animal food extruder.
Outside: wooden case (adopt the wooden case or wooden pellets depended on clients' requirement).
