1. Features of NJ(NYD) Belt Conveyor Backstop
NJ(NYD) backstop, applied to low speed shaft, is an anti-reversal contact-type device. Compared to other backstops, with supplying the same reverse torque, NJ(NYD) type backstop has the following features:

l Low requirement for installation accuracy
2. Application of NJ(NYD) Belt Conveyor Backstop
NJ(NYD) backstops are extensively used in inclined belt conveyor, bucket elevators, scraper conveyor, and other equipments who have anti-reversal requirement. It will effectively prevent reverse rotation or glide in case of heavy load or sudden stoppage of the equipment due to any reason, thereby avoiding the accident because of the material being transported fall-off the machine.
3. Working principle:
Several irregular blocks are arranged regularly between outer ring and inner ring. When the inner ring is rotating in the working direction, the irregular blocks contact with the outer ring and inner ring gently. When the inner ring rotates in the counter-working direction, irregular blocks will be deflect driven by spring force and wedge outer ring and inner ring closer together to afford backstop torque.
