What it does
The netis EPON OLT (Optical Line Terminal)EP8208 is an IEEE 802.3ah & CTC 2.1standards compliant productwith 1U chassis-based system. It provides 8 EPON ports in the system to support up to 512 ONUs. Together with netis ONUs,EP8208 completes the end-to-end FTTx with up to 1Gbps of bandwidth to residential and business customers. It is the ideal carrier class optical access platform for FTTx (FTTC, FTTB, FTTH).

- Complete Layer2/Layer3 features, supports Trunk protection/ Q-in-Q
- Advanced QoS functions: IP ToS, IEEE 802.1p priority (SP/WRR/SP+WRR)
- Intelligent Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA)
- Provides IEEE 802.1Q VLAN
- IGMP Snooping optimizes multicast applications
- Secure Access via Access Control List (ACL)
- Complies with Triple Churning Encryption/AES Encryption

- Supports upstream traffic classify and management through extended OAM
