Actually, Anji white tea is NOT white tea instead of green tea. For special geographic position in Anji city, where there are many mountains and temperature are not high, we just call tea leaves picked up below 25 centigrade as Anji white tea. Above 25 centi-grade, it is also green tea. Most of people, including Chinese think this tea is white tea, actually, it is green tea. I have confirmed it from one tea expert of Zhejiang University, one famous university in China. Anji white tea is famous for abundant Amino Acid, which can prevent co senescence. Anji white tea is a promising tea of famous teas in Zhejiang Province. Anji white tea is made through the same process as green tea, so it also belongs to green tea. It is of white color because its raw material is adopted from tea plants whose tender leaves are white.

This tea, bright and lubricating, is of a fine and elegant figure, its shape being like a feather, and its color being as jade green frost. After it is brewed, the leaves unfold naturally, appearing jade white color with emerald green veins, and the soup is in light yellow, limpid and bright. Anji white tea has a strong and fresh aroma, which lasts very long.
