Our thermal CTP plates feature a photosensitive coating designed for thermal laser systems operating at an 830 nm wavelength. They can be imaged directly by near-infrared lasers at approximately 830 nm, eliminating the need for conventional film-based intermediate processes.
The plates offer fast imaging speed, stable halftone dot reproduction, simplified plate-making procedures, and suitability for automated production. They are widely used in commercial printing, book and magazine printing, packaging printing, label printing, and various short- to medium-run offset printing applications.
Available plate thicknesses include 0.15 mm, 0.20 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.30 mm, and 0.35 mm. Sensitivity variation before and after transportation is less than 3%, while sensitivity variation after one year of storage at room temperature is less than 5%. Standard shelf life is 12 months.

830 nm thermal CTP plates are available in thicknesses from 0.15 mm to 0.35 mm to meet the needs of different printing applications.
0.15 mm–0.20 mm (Thin Plates):
Suitable for high-quality fine printing, such as magazines, premium promotional materials, and high-end brochures. Thin plates offer higher resolution and finer halftone reproduction, making them ideal for short-run premium printing that requires exceptional image detail.
0.25 mm–0.30 mm (Medium-Thickness Plates):
Suitable for commercial printing, book printing, and general packaging printing. These plates offer a good balance between durability and imaging precision and are the most commonly used thickness range.
0.30 mm–0.35 mm (Thick Plates):
Suitable for long-run, high-volume printing, such as newspaper printing, packaging printing, and industrial printing. Thick plates provide greater mechanical strength and durability and can withstand more printing cycles.
