1、 Process flow

Raw material pretreatment → crucible electric melting → wire drawing forming → bundle coating → high-speed winding → post-treatment processing

1. Glass balls, or screening, removing impurities, cleaning broken glass, removing foreign objects such as metals and refractory materials to ensure the stability of glass components; The size of broken glass should be adapted to the feeding mechanism to avoid material jamming.

2. Secondary melting of crucible: The feeding device sends glass balls/broken glass into the crucible; The crucible relies on resistance to generate heat, with a temperature control of 1100-1300 ℃, to melt solid glass into a uniform glass liquid; The system automatically replenishes materials, stabilizes the glass liquid level in the crucible, and ensures continuous wire drawing operations.

The feeding of broken glass requires higher requirements for the feeding mechanism. Large pieces of broken glass are prone to impact the melt pool, causing temperature and liquid level fluctuations, which affect the stability of wire drawing.

3. Wire drawing forming: Molten glass flows out through the micropores of the platinum rhodium alloy leak plate at the bottom under the action of gravity, and is cooled by air to form a high-temperature glass stream.

4. Coating wetting agent and bundling: Monofilaments are coated with wetting agent on the surface through a wetting agent coating device, completing lubrication and bundling; Hundreds of single filaments are gathered into the original bundle using a bundle.

5. High speed stretching and winding: pulled by a high-speed drawing machine, the glass fine stream is drawn into continuous glass fiber raw fibers of a specified diameter, and wound into fiber cakes/spools.

6. Post processing: The raw silk drum is dried, and subsequent twisting, splicing, inspection and packaging can be carried out to obtain the finished fiberglass yarn.
