1. Product Description
This gold CIL recovery plant is purpose‑built for reprocessing old mine tailings to improve total gold yield. Optimized for low‑gold‑content, weathered and fine‑grained historic tailings materials, the complete plant includes tailings feeding, slurry preparation, thickening, multi‑stage anti‑corrosion leaching‑adsorption, elution‑desorption, electrowinning, smelting and wastewater harmless treatment modules. The process adopts adjusted grinding intensity, optimized leaching residence time and precise reagent dosing to extract residual fine gold locked inside old tailings. It realizes resource reuse of abandoned tailing ponds, increases overall gold output for mining enterprises, and can be configured as independent tailings re‑processing line or retrofitted on‑site beside existing tailings storage facilities.
2. Working Principle
Stockpiled old gold tailings are reclaimed and fed into the processing plant. After material homogenization and suitable grinding, residual fine gold particles are further exposed. Tailings slurry is adjusted to proper density by thickener before entering multi‑stage CIL leaching tanks. Under optimized cyanide dosage, PH value and extended reaction time, residual disseminated gold in tailings is dissolved. Activated carbon carries out counter‑current adsorption to capture dissolved gold. Loaded carbon is transported to elution‑desorption unit to generate gold‑rich eluate. Gold‑rich solution flows into electrowinning equipment to precipitate gold mud, and gold mud is smelted to produce dore gold bars. Leached tailings and wastewater go through harmless treatment before discharge or back‑to‑pond stacking. The whole CIL workflow recovers valuable residual gold from waste tailings and lifts comprehensive gold resource utilization rate.
