Steel Sheet & Plate & Ship Plate,AH32、DH32、EH32、AH36、DH36、EH36、FH36
Ship Plate is hot‑rolled structural steel plate specially applied for shipbuilding and offshore engineering. In the industry, Ship Plate, Shipbuilding Plate and Marine Steel Plate are collectively defined as special structural steel for hull construction. Manufactured in strict accordance with classification society rules, Ship Plate delivers outstanding low‑temperature impact toughness, fatigue resistance and weldability, adapting to complex marine conditions including seawater salt‑spray, temperature alternation and wave impact. Shipbuilding Plate covers normal‑strength and high‑strength grades, and Z‑grade anti‑lamellar‑tearing property is available to avoid lamellar tearing for heavy‑plate welding joints. Marine Steel Plate is available with certification from CCS, ABS, DNV, LR, BV and other mainstream classification societies. UT ultrasonic testing is supported. Full‑range thin‑medium‑heavy specifications are in stock. Custom deep‑processing such as cutting, beveling and heat‑treatment is supported. Complete mill test certificates for ship inspection are provided for domestic shipyards, offshore‑engineering projects and foreign‑trade export orders.
1. Material Grades
‑Normal‑strength hull steel: A, B, D, E (CCSA, CCSB, CCSD, CCSE)
‑High‑strength hull steel: AH32, DH32, EH32, AH36, DH36, EH36, FH36
‑Z‑direction grades: Z15, Z25, Z35 for critical welded load‑bearing positions
‑Offshore‑platform dedicated steel, custom special‑grade Ship Plate available per classification‑society requirements.
2. Execution Standards
‑National Standard: GB/T 712‑2022 ‑American Standard: ASTM A131/A131M
‑Classification‑society rules: CCS, ABS, DNV, LR, BV, NK, KR ‑Ship Plate, Shipbuilding Plate and Marine Steel Plate support SGS and third‑party ship‑inspection. Mechanical, spectroscopic and UT test reports can be provided to satisfy acceptance requirements of domestic and overseas ship & offshore‑engineering projects.
3. Specification Parameters
Ship Plate: thickness 4.5‑120mm, width 1500‑4200mm, length 2000‑12000mm, custom cut‑to‑length supported. Shipbuilding Plate delivery conditions: hot‑rolled, TMCP, normalized. Good flatness, free of lamination and crack defects.Marine Steel Plate can be supplied with Z‑direction property. Complete normal‑strength and high‑strength grades for single‑piece and bulk orders.
4. Main Classification & Delivery Condition
‑Shipbuilding Plate normal‑strength series: Grade A/B/D/E for secondary hull structures, decks and bulkheads;
‑Marine Steel Plate high‑strength series: AH32/DH32/EH32, AH36/DH36/EH36 with higher yield strength for main hull, side shell and critical offshore‑platform load‑bearing components;
‑Z‑direction Ship Plate: Z15/Z25/Z35, preventing lamellar tearing for heavy‑plate high‑stress welded joints;
‑Delivery condition: AR hot‑rolled, TMCP thermo‑mechanically controlled rolling, N normalized upon request.
5. Surface Treatment & Packaging
‑Basic condition: hot‑rolled black surface; sandblasting and anti‑rust primer coating optional;
‑Optional processing: CNC cutting, beveling, heat‑treatment, non‑destructive testing;
‑Packing: steel bundles reinforced with wooden spacers to prevent hoisting damage, ensuring transportation safety for Ship Plate, Shipbuilding Plate and Marine Steel Plate for land shipment and ocean export.
6. Applications
Ship Plate is widely used for hull construction of bulk carriers, container ships, oil tankers, fishing vessels and engineering vessels, as well as offshore platforms, floating structures and marine‑equipment projects. Shipbuilding Plate is applied for hull shell, decks, bulkheads, bottom plates and internal load‑bearing structures. Marine Steel Plate serves for offshore‑platform legs, deck modules and offshore‑equipment bases. It withstands seawater corrosion, low‑temperature impact and alternating wave loads, acting as indispensable core structural steel for shipbuilding and offshore‑engineering industries.
7. Product Advantages
Ship Plate manufactured under classification‑society standards owns excellent low‑temperature impact toughness and stable weldability for complex marine service environments.
Shipbuilding Plate complete grades covering normal‑strength, high‑strength and Z‑direction anti‑tearing steel to satisfy diversified hull‑position requirements.
Marine Steel Plate available with official classification‑society certificates, traceable material source for ship‑classification inspection.
One‑stop deep‑processing including cutting, beveling and NDT testing to meet shipyard production‑cutting demands.
