Q1: What types of oil systems is this strainer suitable for?
A: This in-line strainer works well with lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, and other petroleum-based fluids. It is not recommended for highly viscous or aggressive chemicals without material upgrades.
Q2: Can I clean and reuse the 10 mesh screen?
A: Yes, the stainless steel screen is reusable. Simply remove the strainer, take out the element, and wash it with a suitable solvent or compressed air. Replace if damaged.
Q3: What is the pressure drop across the strainer at rated flow?
A: Pressure drop depends on flow rate and fluid viscosity. For typical oil at 100 SSU, the clean strainer has a pressure drop of approximately 0.5-1 PSI at nominal flow. Please contact us for detailed calculations.

A: While designed for oil systems, the strainer can be used for water, coolants, and air, provided the materials are compatible. For corrosive fluids, we recommend stainless steel construction.
