- What is the maximum operating temperature for the PP version? The polypropylene cartridge can operate continuously up to 80°C (176°F). For higher temperatures, we recommend the PTFE or stainless steel versions.
- Can this cartridge be used for both acid and alkali filtration? Yes, the materials used (PP, PTFE, SS) are resistant to both strong acids and strong alkalis, making it suitable for a wide pH range.
- What micron ratings are available? Standard ratings include 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 microns. Custom ratings are available upon request.
- How do I select the right end cap configuration? Common configurations are DOE (double open end) for universal housing and SOE (single open end) with a closed bottom. Consult our technical team for guidance.
- Is the cartridge compatible with strong oxidizing agents like nitric acid? Yes, the PTFE and stainless steel versions are highly resistant to nitric acid and other oxidizers. The PP version may have limited resistance to concentrated nitric acid above certain temperatures.
