A centrifugal fan is a ventilation device that uses the high-speed rotation of an impeller to generate centrifugal force, drawing in, accelerating, and discharging air or gas. Its core structure consists of an impeller, volute casing, motor, air inlet, and air outlet. During operation, the motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed. Air enters the center of the impeller axially, is flung toward the impeller edge by centrifugal force, and is then guided by the volute casing to discharge at a 90° angle, completing a continuous cycle of suction, acceleration, pressurization, and exhaust. Compared with axial fans, centrifugal fans deliver higher pressure and more stable operation, making them ideal for long-duct and high-resistance applications. The impeller is available in forward-curved, backward-curved, and radial types, with optional materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and FRP to meet corrosion-resistant, high-temperature, and explosion-proof requirements. Widely used in industrial ventilation, smoke and dust exhaust, boiler induced draft, HVAC air supply, and waste gas treatment.
