Product Overview
Different from traditional sodium hypochlorite generators that adopt prepared brine, this equipment directly electrolyzes natural seawater. We can provide three types of seawater electrolyzers including MESH, CTE and PPE. The whole system is equipped with a full PLC automatic control system, stably producing sodium hypochlorite solution with available chlorine concentration of 0.1%-0.2%. The entire system adopts skid-mounted design and complies with marine environmental standards.
System Process Flow
1. Booster pump+ Filtration
Seawater is extracted, pressurized and stabilized, and then passed through a multi-stage precision filter. This effectively removes algae, sediment, suspended solids, and organic impurities, thereby protecting the core electrolysis components.
2. Core Reactions in the Electrolyzer
After filtration, the seawater enters the electrolyzer. A transformer and rectifier supply the DC voltage and current required for the electrolysis process, which electrolyzes water and chloride ions to produce sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen gas.
3. Automatic Liquid Storage and Hydrogen Degassing Metering
The electrolyzed raw sodium hypochlorite is stored in a sealed, corrosion-resistant tank for stabilization, while the by-product hydrogen gas is collected, diluted, and safely vented.
4. Metering Dosing System
Shock dosing pump and continuous dosing pump are both available according to end user requirement.
5. Automatic Acid Washing and Descaling
The acid washing system uses 8% hydrochloric acid to descale the calcium and magnesium precipitates formed during the reaction, thereby extending the service life of the electrolyzer.
