1 Product Overview

Coastal power plant dedicated seawater electrolysis chlorine system is large-scale industrial seawater treatment equipment for power station seawater circulating cooling systems. Coastal power plants rely on natural seawater for cooling, and seawater contains a large number of algae, shellfish, plankton and microorganisms, which are easy to attach and reproduce in pipelines, causing pipeline blockage, increased pipeline resistance and reduced unit heat exchange efficiency. This equipment takes natural seawater as the only raw material, realizes on-site electrolysis chlorine generation without adding any chemical agents. It maintains stable trace active chlorine in the circulating water system, achieves efficient sterilization and anti-biofouling, ensures long-term stable operation of power plant cooling units, and meets industrial environmental protection and energy-saving operation standards.

2 Technical Principle

The equipment adopts large-flow industrial seawater direct electrolysis technology. The natural seawater extracted from the sea for power plant cooling is sent to the multi-stage precision filtration system to remove suspended solids, marine debris and large plankton. The purified seawater flows into the industrial-grade high-efficiency electrolytic cell group. Under constant current DC electrolysis, chloride ions in seawater are oxidized to produce active hypochlorous acid disinfectant. The electrolyzed seawater with uniform active chlorine concentration is injected into the power plant circulating water main pipe. Active chlorine can quickly kill microorganisms and inhibit the incubation of shellfish and algae spores. The system links with water flow and seasonal temperature changes to intelligently adjust electrolysis load, ensuring accurate and efficient anti-fouling disinfection effect for large-flow circulating water.
