- What is the actual filtration efficiency of this filter? The filter provides an initial efficiency of 30% when tested per ASHRAE 52.1 dust spot method. This is equivalent to a G3 or G4 classification under EN 779, suitable for capturing coarse particles like dust, lint, and pollen.
- Can I get a mill test report for the media? Yes, a mill test report (MTR) is available for each production batch. It includes media weight, thickness, tensile strength, and filtration efficiency data. Please request it when placing your order.
- How is the flange-clamp filter installed? The filter has a built-in flange that slides into the existing holding frame or clamp track. No additional tools or fasteners are required. Simply push the filter into the slot until it locks into place.
- What sizes are available? We offer standard sizes like 12x12x1, 16x20x1, 20x20x2, 24x24x4 inches, and many more. Custom sizes are also available – just provide your desired dimensions. Minimum order quantity for custom sizes is 500 pieces.
- Is this filter washable or reusable? This is a disposable pre-filter. It is not designed to be washed. We recommend replacing the filter every 3–6 months depending on air quality and usage conditions. The media is not suitable for wet cleaning.
- What is the pressure drop at rated airflow? Typically, the initial pressure drop is around 0.12–0.20 in.w.g. (30–50 Pa) at face velocity of 2.5 m/s (500 fpm). The final recommended pressure drop is 1.0 in.w.g. (250 Pa) before replacement.
- Do you provide samples for testing? Yes, we can provide samples for evaluation. Please contact us with your requirements, and we will arrange shipment. Sample cost is negotiable, and we may refund it for bulk orders.
- What is the warranty coverage? The filter carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This includes frame separation, media tearing, or delamination. Normal wear and tear due to service life is not covered. Please refer to our warranty policy for full details.
