Substrate characteristics

SF-2 carbon steel copper-plated rolled bushing, POM metal-plastic composite bushing, rolled open self-lubricating iron-copper bushing is suitable for long-term use under boundary lubrication without maintenance. Initial grease lubrication is recommended. The oil storage holes on the bearing surface can ensure the distribution of grease, and refueling during the process can greatly improve the service life of the product. It has excellent load-bearing capacity, low friction factor and good wear resistance, and is suitable for rotary and oscillating motions under heavy load and low speed.

Material structure

1. POM 0.30 - 0.50mm modified polyoxymethylene, which has good wear resistance and even a low friction factor in the case of instantaneous oil shortage. There are regularly arranged oil storage pits with a spiral angle on the bearing surface. Grease must be fully applied during assembly.

2. Copper powder layer 0.20~0.35mm, which has good load-bearing capacity and wear resistance. The good thermal conductivity can transfer the heat generated during the operation of the bearing in time. The composite material can penetrate into the gaps between the copper powder balls, improving the bonding strength.

3. Low-carbon steel, which provides the load-bearing capacity and heat transfer function of the bearing.

Matters for bearing installation:

The quality of bearing installation will affect the accuracy, service life and performance of the bearing. Therefore, please pay attention to the following matters during installation.

1: Keep the bearing and the on-site environment clean. Use clean tools or auxiliary tools to clean the site. Open the bearing package only when it is to be used to avoid contamination of the bearing.

2: Use appropriate auxiliary tools during installation, such as installation tools with good plasticity and not easy to fall off.

3: When installing, fully inspect the shaft and the bearing housing. Confirm whether there are protrusions or impacts on the mating surface of the shaft and the bearing housing, and whether there is dust or molding sand attached to the surface, etc., to avoid collisions during installation. Before installation, an appropriate amount of lubricating oil can be applied to the bearing surface to achieve a better installation effect.

4: We recommend using the press-fit method for installation. When installing a small quantity, a suitable sleeve can be used to press against the end face of the bearing, and a hammer can be used to tap the sleeve to install the bearing in place. Remember not to directly tap the bearing surface with a hammer to avoid damaging the bearing.
