Teijin Panlite Film is a cutting-edge, high-performance insulating film developed by Teijin Limited. Designed as a next-generation solution for the electrical and electronics industries, this flame-retardant polycarbonate film combines superior electrical insulation with exceptional mechanical properties. It is specifically engineered to meet the growing market demand for smaller, lighter, and safer components in applications such as Electric Vehicles (EVs) and wearable devices. By utilizing advanced resin technology, Teijin Panlite Film offers high reliability and design flexibility, allowing for significant down-sizing of battery modules and electrical insulation parts.
Key Features & Advantages
Superior Insulation (PLC 0): Achieves a Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) of 600V or higher (PLC 0). This high level of insulation reliability allows for reduced insulation distances (creepage and clearance), enabling more compact and efficient device designs.
Thin & Flame Retardant: Demonstrates excellent flame retardancy, achieving a UL94 V-0 rating equivalent at a thin thickness of 0.30mm. This contributes to weight and space savings without compromising safety.
High Heat Resistance: Offers a high Relative Thermal Index (RTI) for electrical applications of 125°C (Equivalent), ensuring stable performance in high-temperature environments.
Eco-Friendly & Safe: This is a Halogen-Free film, significantly reducing the risk of toxic gas generation during combustion. It is also PFBS/PFAS-free and compliant with European REACH regulations, meeting global environmental standards.
Excellent Mechanical Properties: Boasts high tensile strength and flexural modulus while maintaining the impact resistance typical of polycarbonate. It offers a balance of rigidity and processability.
