Q1: What is the Mill Test Report (MTR) and why is it important?
An MTR is a quality document issued by the steel mill that details the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the raw material used. For heavy-duty chisels, it ensures the steel meets hardness and toughness standards, reducing the risk of tool failure on site.
Q2: Can this chisel be used with a pneumatic hammer?
Yes, but only if you choose the shank version designed for power tools. Our standard flat chisel has a hexagonal or round shank (customizable). Please specify your hammer model when ordering, and we can adjust the shank diameter and length.
Q3: Does the warranty cover chipping or breakage from misuse?
The 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects such as cracking from improper heat treatment, but not damage caused by misuse (e.g., using on hardened steel or exceeding recommended impact force). Normal wear on the cutting edge is also excluded.
Q4: What sizes are available for immediate shipment?
We stock 200mm and 250mm lengths with 19mm and 22mm cutting edges. 300mm versions are made-to-order and ship within 20 working days.
Q5: Do you offer customized branding or packaging?
Yes, we offer OEM services including laser engraving of your logo, custom blister cards, and bulk packaging in cardboard boxes or wooden crates. Minimum order quantity for customization is 500 pieces.
Q6: Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For standard products, MOQ is 100 pieces per size. For custom lengths or special shanks, MOQ is 500 pieces. Sample orders (1–10 pieces) are available at a slightly higher per-unit cost, with MTR included.
Q7: How is the chisel packaged to prevent damage during shipping?
Each chisel is either blister-packed on a card or wrapped in oil paper and placed in a polybag. Bulk orders are packed in sturdy cartons and then in palletized wooden crates for sea freight, ensuring no bending or edge damage.
Q8: What payment terms do you accept?
We accept T/T (30% deposit, 70% before shipment), L/C at sight, and for established customers, net 30 days (upon credit approval). All payments are processed through our verified bank account.
