I. Product Introduction
The Gold Ball Mill is the core grinding equipment in Peru gold ore processing plants. It is specially designed to suit the characteristics of Peruvian gold ores and the challenging operating conditions of mountainous mining areas. The machine is mainly used for fine grinding after the crushing stage. It supports both dry and wet grinding, reducing large gold ore into qualified fine powder or slurry for subsequent processes such as flotation, gravity separation, and gold extraction. II. Working Principle
The ball mill is driven by an electric motor that rotates the cylinder at a constant speed. Wear-resistant liners inside the cylinder lift the grinding media (steel balls) together with the gold ore. When the grinding media reach a certain height, they fall under gravity, crushing the ore through impact. At the same time, friction and compression between the steel balls, ore particles, and liners further grind the material into fine particles.
The raw ore is continuously fed into the mill through the feed inlet, while the qualified ground material is discharged from the outlet. The entire grinding process is continuous, and the grinding fineness can be adjusted according to different gold recovery process requirements.
