The tunnel PLC regional controller is also called the tunnel ACU controller. ACU (Area Control Unit), with the full English name of Area Control Unit, is responsible for tasks such as signal collection, control signal output, and remote communication in a specific area of the industrial field. It is generally composed of a programmable logic controller (PLC), an industrial switch, a power module, a protection module, a UPS, and a cabinet.
The core role of the tunnel PLC regional controller is to serve as a key node of the tunnel integrated management platform. The controller can collect, process, and store the detection data of various electromechanical equipment inside and outside the tunnel, such as the status of lighting, fans, and water pumps, and monitor their working status in real time. At the same time, it can upload the data to the monitoring center and receive instructions from the center to precisely control the on - site equipment.
