1. Are these wheat straws safe for people with celiac disease?
Our wheat straws are made from wheat stalks, not wheat flour. The processing removes most gluten proteins, but trace amounts may remain. We recommend consulting your doctor if you have severe gluten sensitivity. For safety, we advise not to chew or eat the straws.
2. How long do they last in a drink?
In cold beverages (0–10°C), they can last up to 4–5 hours without becoming soggy. In warm liquids (below 60°C), expect about 30 minutes. They are not recommended for boiling water or soups.
3. Can I get customized length or diameter?
Yes, we offer custom sizes upon request. Minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom sizes may vary. Please contact our sales team for details.
4. How are the straws packaged?
Standard packaging is 100 straws per paper sleeve, with 50 sleeves per carton. We also offer bulk packaging (e.g., 2000 straws per box) and custom branding options (logo printing on sleeves) with an MOQ of 10,000 packs.
5. Are these straws suitable for hot coffee?
They can be used in hot coffee for short periods (up to 30 minutes). For prolonged use, we recommend our heat-resistant biodegradable alternatives (available separately).
6. Do they have any smell or taste?
High-quality wheat straws have a very faint natural grain scent but do not impart any flavor to drinks. If you notice a strong smell, it may indicate poor storage; our batches are sealed in moisture-proof bags.
7. What certifications do you have?
We are ISO9001:2015 certified. Additionally, our straws comply with FDA and EU food contact regulations (test reports available upon request). We do not have specific compostability certificates yet, but testing can be arranged.
8. What is the MOQ for a first order?
