Packing & Delivery
Bundling Material: High-strength galvanized steel strapping (also known as sheet metal strapping) is commonly used. The galvanized layer effectively protects the steel strapping from corrosion, and its corrosion resistance is far superior to ordinary steel. It is suitable for humid environments. This type of steel strapping has the advantages of high dimensional accuracy, high strength, and ease of processing, ensuring that the tube bundle remains stable and does not fall apart during hoisting and transportation.
Surface Protection: Galvanized round tubes already have rust-proof capabilities, but for additional protection, they are often wrapped with rust-preventive oil, rust-preventive paper, or vapor phase rust-preventive film to prevent white rust from forming in the salt spray environment of marine transportation.
End and Corner Protection: Plastic or metal caps are usually installed at the pipe ends to prevent impact deformation and the entry of foreign objects. Corner guards (wooden or plastic) are installed at the edges of the tubing bundles to prevent the strapping straps from cutting the galvanized layer or damaging the steel pipes under external impact.
External Packaging and Labeling: The bundled tubing bundles are typically wrapped entirely in thickened polyethylene woven fabric, waterproof canvas, or shrink film for dust and moisture protection. The external packaging must have clear, weather-resistant labeling, including product specifications, material, applicable standards, batch number, weight, center of gravity, and internationally recognized handling instructions.
