1. What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for this coil?
Our standard MOQ is 5 tons per specification. However, we can accommodate smaller trial orders for new customers. Please contact our sales team for details.
2. Can you supply coils with a thickness less than 0.3 mm?
We can produce coils down to 0.2 mm thickness upon request, but it may require custom processing and lead time. Please confirm your exact thickness requirement.
3. What surface finishes are available for this 304 coil?
We offer 2B, BA, No.4, HL, and 8K mirror finishes. Each finish has different applications and cost. 2B and BA are most common for thin gauge coils. We can also apply protective film on request.
4. How do you ensure the anti-rust property of the coil?
Our 304 stainless steel contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which naturally forms a passive oxide layer preventing rust. We also perform passivation treatment and salt spray testing (up to 200 hours) in our QC process.
5. Do you provide cut-to-length or slit-to-width services?
Yes, we can slit the master coil into narrower widths (minimum 50 mm) and cut to specific lengths (flat sheets) with tight tolerances. Additional charges may apply.
6. What packaging do you use for export?
Each coil is packed with anti-rust paper, plastic film, steel strapping, and wooden pallets or crates as needed. For sea freight, we use waterproof and shockproof materials. Custom packaging is available upon request.
7. How long is the typical delivery time?
For standard sizes (0.3-1.0mm thickness, 1000-1250mm width), delivery is 15-20 working days after order confirmation. For custom dimensions, lead time may extend to 25-30 days.
8. Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes, we offer free samples (A4 size or small piece) for evaluation. You only need to cover the shipping cost. For full coil samples, there is a nominal charge refundable with the first order.
